On Thursday 13th March, Natalie Kobier took a brave step in partnering with The World's Greatest Shave and said goodbye to her long luscious blonde locks.
Together with her boyfriend Kyle, Natalie arranged with Jayde from K L's Cut Above Hair in McGraths Hill to donate her time and come into the school during lunch to be part of the fun and assist in shaving off Natalie's hair in front of all our senior students.
On the actual day Natalie and her friends organised a bake sale, a raffle and collected donations. Before coming to school last Thursday, Natalie had already reached her goal of $1000 so we set a new goal of $1500 to reach by the end of the day. With the support of friends, peers, teachers and family donations, Natalie has collected $1675 to date and it is still rising.
Natalie has been an inspiration to many students at Windsor High, countless teachers and students admiring her bravery and strength. We think she pulls off the new hairstyle exceedingly well and are so proud of her stepping out of her comfort zone for the sake of others.
If you would still like to donate, it is still possible to do so online at Natalie's web page;
