Under the 2018 revised syllabus, the study of English in years 11 and 12 develops student understanding of literary expression and nurtures an appreciation of aesthetic values. It develops skills to enable students to experiment with ideas and expression, to become innovative, active, independent learners, to collaborate and to reflect on their learning. Advanced, Standard and English Studies provides senior students opportunities to successfully achieve their ATAR by continuing to develop their critical and imaginative skills.
